Tamarack Nature Center Engagement Session

When Erin and Landon showed up to their engagement session in this fun mushroom print, I knew it was a good fit. They both work outside in the beautiful outdoors; their jobs are actually what brought them together! Erin requested wildflowers in a plains-type setting for their session, so the Tamarack Nature Center was a no-brainer. I love finding locations that fit the visions my clients are dreaming up!

Engagement sessions are easily one of my favorite parts of the wedding process. The engagement session allows me to focus fully on you as a couple, documenting the bond you’ve nurtured together. It’s also the perfect excuse to meet up before the wedding, which allows us to talk about anything and everything you want. Want to try a dip kiss? It’s the best time to practice! Engagement sessions are also a fantastic trial run, meaning you get to see what you look like on camera before your big day. This has helped past clients of mine determine which poses they want to avoid, or include on their wedding day.

It felt like we walked all over the nature center, yet we hardly scratched the surface of what’s available for walking trails. This is truly a gem for nature lovers. Not to mention, it’s beautiful here in every season. It can definitely get busy like any other beautiful spot, but there’s plenty of areas to find your own peace and quiet.
