Summer Wedding at Elm Creek Park Reserve

Thomi and Eric have been together for a long time, so they decided to celebrate that fact with their families with a fun and laid-back summer wedding filled with laughter and dancing. Their daughter was able to participate as their flower girl too! If you’ve ever stopped by the chalet in Elm Creek before, you might not see the potential it has as a venue, but let me tell you: it’s a gorgeous venue to celebrate at.

I know there are some hot takes on kids being at weddings and receptions, but I have no real opinion on the matter. Every wedding I’ve attended, either as a guest or vendor, the kids are always so funny and full of energy (sugar, haha!) That kind of energy makes my job easy! I’m a big fan of whimsy, and kids are able to effortlessly bring that out in adults as well. All of that makes for a great image.

The day flew by in the blink of an eye. The ceremony itself was right outside the chalet on the patio, the rest of the night taking place inside the chalet. Their families were so kind and full of energy, making for fantastic candids they’ll get to look back on for the rest of their lives.
